I first read this in August 1998 and most recently on the 28th March 2002
Even more people have terrible things happen to them, and there's little they
can do about it.
The plot developed in the first volume of "the Night's Dawn" trilogy continues
to develop, gaining in scope and complexity.
I'm beginning to suffer from some serious sensory overload with this set of
books. There's so much detail and complexity that the real world is growing
dim and insubstantial. If not for the tobacco, tequila and occasional bill-collector
I'd probably lose contact completely, drifting into some ghost realm of
Peter F. Hamilton fans.
Don't consider reading this unless you've read the
previous books, and when you've read "The Reality Dysfunction", then you must
of course immediately read this.
In the United Kingdom, this book and its sequel
"The Neutronium Alchemist - Conflict" are published as a single volume
"The Neutronium Alchemist".
Loaded on the 10th April 2002.
